Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you'll be met by your Zamia Africa guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Enjoy a welcome briefing about your upcoming safari adventure.
Day 2
Arusha to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy game viewing en route as you descend into the Serengeti plains. Arrive at your lodge/camp for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive.
Day 3-4
Full Days in Serengeti National Park
Spend two full days exploring the vast Serengeti ecosystem. Morning and afternoon game drives offer the best wildlife viewing opportunities. Optional hot-air balloon safari at sunrise available.
Day 5
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After a final morning game drive in Serengeti, journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En route, visit a Maasai village (optional) to learn about traditional Maasai culture and lifestyle.
Day 6
Ngorongoro Crater Full-Day Game Drive
Today is dedicated to exploring the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the "Eden of Africa." Descend 600 meters into the crater floor for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch.
Day 7
Ngorongoro to Arusha & Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Arusha with a stop at a local market or craft center. Enjoy lunch before your transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure.
